Anchorage Digital announced a partnership with Securitize on October 20 for direct minting and redemption of stablecoins issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. The announcement places stablecoin issuance, custody and settlement with the bank for the dollar side of tokenized asset transactions.

The new relationship concerns the cash used to settle against tokenized investments. Securitize supplies tokenization infrastructure, while Anchorage supplies the issuing bank relationship. Anchorage says Securitize will mint and redeem directly with its bank rather than source stablecoins through intermediaries.

Anchorage’s conversion documentation explains the two directions: minting converts U.S. dollars into stablecoins, while redemption converts stablecoins back into dollars. Its general conversion service is listed as live through both its API and web platform. Requests require permission to convert stablecoins. They initially await required approvals, then proceed toward settlement after approval. The published status flow includes completed and failed outcomes; submitting a request is therefore distinct from a completed conversion. The conversion history records each operation separately and links it to underlying ledger transactions.

The same documentation treats bridging between blockchains as a separate conversion action, using a burn on the source chain and a mint on the destination chain. That generic capability does not establish which networks the Securitize relationship supports.

The partnership announcement does not provide a supported-chain list, fee schedule, transaction-volume figures or a dated rollout timetable for the connection. It describes an institutional settlement arrangement, not a new retail stablecoin account. Anchorage’s published disclosures limit its services to institutions and certain high-net-worth individuals in limited circumstances.
