Ondo Finance said on September 16 that its subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets had joined DTCC's Fund/SERV platform. The announcement describes the U.S. broker-dealer as the first tokenization platform to participate in the network.
Fund/SERV handles more than 85% of U.S. mutual fund transaction activity, according to the release. That figure describes the existing network, not a share of activity won by Ondo.
Distribution plumbing, not a sales total
The connection lets Oasis Pro Markets transact with fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers through standardized infrastructure. Ondo says this reduces the need for separate integrations and supports functions including confirmations, reconciliation, distributions and reporting.
The practical significance is a route between tokenized investment products and established fund distribution systems. Membership itself does not show how much new money will flow through that route.
The announcement supplies an infrastructure milestone, rather than evidence of a particular ONDO token price outcome. Adoption should be assessed through subsequent product availability and actual usage, not inferred from the size of Fund/SERV's existing business.
